Second Day in Barcelona (Limey version)

Hello, Joel (a non-American/non-Yank) guesting for Bryan here. He's off drinking, probably copious amounts of cointreau or sleeping. Whatever.

Anyway, today was the first proper day of our joint UK/US adventure. Both tensions and expectations were high and it was only a few hours before certain conflicts and rivalries (some war of independence) were brought up. It seems we also say some very strange words (crisps). Nevertheless, we settled up old scores by exchanging pairs of fake US and UK flag bearing sunglasses.

Kevin et al's cultural education properly began with Barcelona Cathedral followed by their first sighting of the Mediterranean. After me frog-marching everyone for apparently very long distances, we all went to the beach to chill and swim. The sea was cold, refreshing and very salty. Fortunately no-one got excessively sunburnt (even me, which is unusual). The Americans also had their first experience of tapas, which also served as a great hangover cure. :D

For dinner, I (slaved away) making chili for everyone to eat. I think it went down well. At least I hope it did. And tonight we're going to try and make it to a drum and base night -- we'll have to see. Anyway, Bryan's back to add today's pics. Joel out.

P.S. The US sucks cock.
