Night of the First Day...

Tomorrow we leave for Madrid.  Our anticipation is palpable.

After buying some sweet new running shoes for the trip,

we spent the last few hours in a La Quinta in South San Francisco near SFO.  We've been enjoying some fine wine and food courtesy of Kevin's dad and swimming in the hotel's swimming pool (unfortunately the spa was broken).

Yummmm...

Tim is spreading out on the bed like a liquid.

We have to wake up at 4 tomorrow to get ready to go to the airport.  Our first stop will be Charlotte, NC (my home state).  After a short layover, we will fly to Madrid.
